Old & New Photos of Last Stand Hill Where George Custer Fell

Below is a famous photo of Last Stand Hill where George Custer fell taken by the well-known photographer D. F. Barry. This photo was taken in 1882 -- the same year that the 7th Cavalry Monument was placed on the mass grave of the soldiers.

The Barry photograph, as seen, with the Custer photo insert was once owned by the late E. A. Brininstool. It is provided to us courtesy of John Doerner from his personal collection.
